Some places just get in your blood, and leave their mark on you for life. This bold, tattoo-inspired print from Starfangled Press draws on the tradition of classic flash art, featuring a copperhead coiled around a heart, flanked by roses, with a banner that says what a lot of us feel: Appalachia Forever. The kind of thing you frame and hang somewhere you'll see it every day, and it still feels right ten years later.

About The Brand
About The Brand
Starfangled Press is a woman-owned studio based in Brevard, North Carolina, making playful, down-to-earth paper goods drawn with an Appalachian accent.
With a background in traditional printmaking, artist Kristen Necessary brings that same bold, layered style to all of her original hand-drawn illustrations, along with an offbeat sense of humor.
Her work is meant to be used and enjoyed every day, because art makes life better. She thinks small things like these really matter, and loves the funny, beautiful, and unexpected ways they can connect us to each other and the places we call home.
