Show Statement

In this body of work,  automatic drawing is used as a form of journaling in an attempt to connect with the subconscious. Inspired by escapism and dreams, the lines of fantasy and reality are blurred with imagination and grounded with a scribe on copper. Through the use of traditional print media, I work to explore my own versions of reality and consciousness. Personal symbolism and storytelling allow me to create glimpses of a world formerly known only to myself.
